Transylvanian Castle Database Renewed
The largest online database dedicated to Transylvanian castles—kastelyerdelyben.ro—is undergoing a comprehensive structural and content update. Launched in 2012 by the PONT Group, the website has gathered information on more than 300 Transylvanian castles and manor houses over the years, in varying levels of detail and with the involvement of specialists. Baroness Krisztina Bánffy, came into the world in 1943 in Cluj-Napoca (Kolozsvár). Her father was Baron József Bánffy, and her mother was Baroness Mária Wesselényi. She was one of five siblings.
